aaaa this place was honestly sooo lovely!!! it takes a while to get there from central tokyo - took me about 45 minutes by train, and the walk from the station was about 20 minutes - but i would say its well worth it. it's a little cafe with 2 (TWIN!!!) capybaras that have distinct personalities :-))) i had such a lovely time here and the neighbourhood it's located in is just as quaint and beautiful. thank you so much miss potato and miss ringo!!! you've made my trip to tokyo especially memorable and i will be coming back if i have the chance!!!🩷🩷 p.s.: i highly recommend the walk here from the station, especially if you're coming during winter! you get a glimpse into how locals live since the area isn't as touristy, and the neighbourhood has a few photo-taking spots. it's kind of like a peaceful, quiet getaway from all the noise going on in the main city.

We had suuuuuuch a lovely time here, I cannot recommend it enough. It's not going to be the prettiest of venues, but let's be real, we're only here to meet the capybaras, right? We met Ms Potato and Ms Ringo, both of whom were so chill the entire time. All they wanted to do was eat, take dips in the little basin, and lounge around. They were completely unbothered by the class of screaming kindergarteners who were there when we first arrived. Also, important note: there is no time limit on how long you can hang out there. Like some other reviews say, it is a bit out of the way to get here from Tokyo. It took us about an hour's train ride from our hotel here, and then it was an 8 minute taxi ride to the cafe.

This was an amazing intimate spot to spend unlimited one on one time with two incredibly sweet and friendly capybara’s! The owner is super nice and helpful. The capy’s will come right up and hang out with you, they enjoyed pets and definitely lots of treats! Amazing experience and 10/10 recommend if you’re in the area and wanting to see some capybaras!

Visit if you love an opportunity to interact (feed and pet) a capybara. The place was just a small shop, with 2 capybara and 2 guinea pigs. Don't expect too much, except the opportunity to do the aboved mentioned.

The best experience of my 7 yo son’s so far. The best capybara cafe in Tokyo. Extremely worth visiting. Not just the Capies, but also Mr. President and the his lovely brother as well. Strongly recommended. Nicest, kindest, friendliest, cozy and happy place. Please visit this place on your trip to Tokyo. Then you want to come back every day. Thank you very much Mr. President for the unforgettable experience. 🙏🙏🥰🥰

It's worth the trip from Tokyo! Yes it takes a little time and effort to get there, but its the best place in the world. Miss Ringo was really photogenic and Miss Potato loved the snacks we fed her. The guinea pigs are also super cute. I also met president and the director, both are very kind as well.

WONDERFUL experience! If you are near Tokyo, please travel to this lovely animal cafe, it will be worth your time! The owner is clearly a guy who truly loves and cares for his capybaras with such admiration and respect. If you don’t believe me, take a look at how he talks about them on his Instagram page. The admission includes a drink and it is unlimited access to the capys. They are so expressive and adorable. You can also leave and return if you’d like. We purchased sugar cane and leafy greens as well and it was such a joy to see each capybara’s individual personality when it came to food. The Guinea pigs are equally entertaining! They hopped out of their house when we came over with greens and were so cute. This visit was at the end of our two week visit to Japan and it is what I was looking forward to the most. It did not disappoint! Please visit this cafe and help support the capys!!!

So sweet and kind! This NOT an animal cafe, this is two sweet pet capybaras that like to take visitors. They are so well cared for and friendly, and have such nice environment. Mr president takes very good care of them and loves them so much. It can be reached by train metro and bus from Tokyo in about 90 min, and I was so happy I went. You could combine it with other Yokohama attractions if you wanted. Please support these capys, they have taken a hit with the pandemic and they need love. They have a fun website and instagram!
